    Originally released in conjunction with the 1994 Studio Ghibli film Pom Poko, this limited edition album by Hasso Gakudan presents a collection of early musical sketches and inspirations evoking the world of tanuki and nature spirits.

    Blending traditional Japanese instrumentation with folk, soundtrack and “anison” stylings, the album provides a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creative soundscape envisioned for Isao Takahata’s beloved film.
