Sonically expansive in its scope, Big Thief's new album was recorded over an intense three week period at the Power Station in New York by core members Adrianne, Buck, and James, and an ensemble of modern and avant-garde musicians.

This community of musicians gathered together in the warm wooden room where Springsteen (and many, many others) once stood. They all tracked together - simultaneously - improvising arrangements and making collective discoveries.
