Live At Wembley '86 (Vinyl)
Ninety thousand voices singing "We Will Rock You" back at the band that wrote it. That's the sound Queen captured at Wembley in July 1986, and it's the sound this reissue puts back in your hands.
Live At Wembley '86 stands as the third live album from Queen, recorded at the height of their powers. It arrived a year after their show stealing Live Aid performance and on the back of the success of A Kind Of Magic, when the band returned to Wembley as part of their biggest tour to date, breaking every previous attendance record along the way. The production matched the ambition, featuring the largest lighting rig ever assembled for a live event and the biggest stage Wembley had seen, and the result became one of the defining shows of the band's career.
Formed in London and fronted by Freddie Mercury, Queen built a catalogue that moved fluidly between hard rock, glam, and arena ready pop anthems, and this set pulls from all of it. The show runs through titans like "Under Pressure," "I Want To Break Free," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," and "We Will Rock You," alongside fresh cuts from A Kind Of Magic, capturing a band completely in command of a stadium.
