Louder Than Bombs (CD)
Louder Than Bombs is a compilation album by the English rock band The Smiths, released as a double album in March 1987 by their American label, Sire Records, serving as the American counterpart to their recent British compilation The World Won't Listen. It reached number 62 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
The album features all of the band's singles and nearly every B-side that had not yet been released in the United States, either on single or album. A few additional tracks were included as well.
The title is inspired by a line from Elizabeth Smart's extended prose poem By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept.
