The Best of The Black President (Vinyl Box Set)

‘The Best Of The Black President’ is a 13-track guide to Fela Kuti’s massive and manifold creative career. Fela was a musician, arranger, producer, political radical and outlaw and the originator of Afrobeat. This is the first time the complete compilation is available on vinyl. It is a 4LP set, with updated cover art, in a hardbound book jacket and printed inner sleeves. The individual LPs are pressed on red, green, blue and yellow discs. This edition features a Ludo game board as the back cover and comes with a perforated set of game pieces, dice and instructions on how to play. The package also includes an essay about Fela’s massive and lasting impact by the host of ‘Fela Kuti: Fear No Man’, Jad Abumrad.
